If you own a 2018 Ford F150, you’ll need to know the correct wheel lug (bolt) pattern for your F150. This is important information to have when shopping for new wheels or tires, or when taking your truck to the garage for service. In this article, I am going to go through everything you need to know about the 2018 ford f150 bolt pattern, read on!

What is the lug pattern on a 2018 Ford F150?

The lug pattern of a 2018 Ford F150 is 6 x 135. The number of lugs on a wheel is the same as the number of holes in each wheel. The lug pattern is the arrangement of these holes.

The distance between each lug on a truck wheel can vary from one to another, but it should be noted that there are no standards for these patterns.

Instead, it’s up to the manufacturer to determine how many lugs and how far apart they should be placed on their wheels. What does this mean?

It means that if you want to buy aftermarket wheels for your 2013 Ford F150, you’ll need to know what your truck’s lug pattern looks like so that you can get them fitted properly on your vehicle!

Lug Pattern Explained

A lug pattern is the pattern of lugs on a wheel. The front and rear wheels on a car are each designed with their own distinct lug pattern. The lug pattern is what makes one wheel different than another, allowing them to fit on specific vehicles.

A lug pattern is made up of the number of holes in the middle of the wheel that bolts onto the hub, along with the distance between those holes (the diameter). For instance, a car with an eight-lug pattern has eight holes in it and they are spaced out every inch.

The standard size for most cars today is five-lug. However, there are other sizes available depending on what kind of vehicle you drive and where you live. You should always check your owner’s manual or call your dealer before purchasing any new wheels or tires to ensure they will fit properly on your car.

Why is the lug pattern important?

The lug pattern is an important consideration when choosing a set of wheels for your car. A wheel’s lug pattern is the arrangement of lugs or bolt holes on the outside diameter (OD) of the wheel.

Most wheels have 4 lugs, but some have 5 or 6. The number of lugs can affect how easily you can mount tires on that wheel and how much room you have for larger tires.

For example, if you want to run a 30-inch tire on your car, more lugs can provide more space between the lines of bolts, which would allow you to fit a larger tire on your vehicle.

What year does F150 have a 6×135 bolt pattern?

The 6×135 bolt pattern is a fairly standard bolt pattern that has been used on many different vehicles. The first vehicle that had this bolt pattern was the 2004 Ford F150.

This has been the standard since then, so if you have a 2004 or newer F150, you should be able to run 6×135 wheels on your truck without any issues.

If you want to know what year your vehicle was made, check the build date on the door jamb tag. It will be a four or five-digit number followed by a two or three-letter code. The first two digits represent the week of production, while the third and fourth digits indicate the year. So if your build date is 0311 (March 11), then your truck was built in 2003.

Other Ford F150 Year models that have a 6×135 bolt pattern include

  • 2004-2008 Models
  • 2009-2014 Models
  • 2015-2017 Models
  • 2018-2022 Models

Will 2018 F150 wheels fit 2013 F150?

Yes, the wheels from the 2013 F150 will fit perfectly on the 2018 F150. The bolt pattern and offset are exactly the same. The only difference is that the 2019 F150 has a slightly different hub diameter. But that doesn’t matter at all. The wheel will fit just fine and there will be no issues with the tire clearance or anything like that.

What size do wheels fit a 2018 F150?

The stock size of the wheels on a 2018 F150 is  7.5Jx18 This means that it will fit any wheel that is 7.5 inches wide and 18 inches tall. You can also measure your current tires to determine how much clearance you will have when purchasing new tires. The manufacturer of your truck may have specific recommendations for the size of the wheels and tires that you should have in order to get the best performance out of your truck.
